What should I do if I get in an accident in a rental car?
If you get into an auto accident in your rental car, the first thing you do is call the police and file a police report. You should then call the Enterprise branch from which you rented and provide information on the accident. Our staff will walk you through the next steps.
If you happen to get into a rental car accident when the Enterprise branch is not open, you can call roadside assitance, which is available 24 hours a day. We recommend calling the branch as soon as possible during business hours. Many of our airport locations are open 24/7.
